PM9000

PM9000 meter counter has been designed for accurate length measuring. It consists of a control unit TERM20 and measuring wheel with revelation transducer.

The TERM20 control unit is based on a processor module that counts and displays the current count of measured meters and is able to control two adjustable meter count limits. There is a relay for each limit that disconnects the controlling contact when the given limit has been exceeded. The necessary information is displayed on an 8-digit seven-segment LED display with a digit size of 14 mm. The counter is operated with a membrane keyboard. The measuring range is from 0 to 99999.9 m with 0.005 m increments.

The operator can operate the counter using the membrane keyboard and menu showing on the display. A given menu is characterized with the first symbol on the display. The menu can be changed by pressing the 'up" or 'down' keys. The following are basic menu: display the current meter status, reset, display Limit 1 (Low), display Limit 2 (High), access the service menu. The editing is always confirmed by pressing the ENTER key. Digits are selected by pressing the direction keys of 'left' and 'right', their values can be changed by pressing the 'up' and 'down' keys.

The counter is controlled by a PIC processor with a lithium battery backup. Important parameters are stored in a serial EEPROM memory.

The counter is powered with a voltage between 12 and 30 V DC.
