TOUCH55 is a programmable and generally applicable terminal, which can be used as a operator panel for display and setting parameters of the control and information systems, for storage and contemplation of technological and operating parameters of production lines and theirs sections. TOUCH55 can also serves as an input and depictive part of all information and monitoring systems.

TOUCH55 can be also used in connection with the control systems of SofCon or with control systems and PLC automatic machines of others companies, such as TECO, Siemens, Rockwell, SAIA, FESTO, …

A color display 15" TFT LCD with the resolution 1024x768 points is used for display. For control there is a touch screen, with the resoluiton 1024x768, that fully replaces the mouse. It is possible to connect also an additional standard or special keyboard and trackball control system.

The terminal is controlled by processing unit PCU01 built up from processor of Intel company. The processing unit is composed of the hard disk, VGA adapter, bus Ethernet, bus USB, serial line RS232, audio input/output, mouse and keyboard connection. The efficiency and facilities of the processing unit can be changed at customer's request.

The terminal is, due to its mechanical construction, suitable for the building into the door of the switchboard. The processing unit PCU01 can be directly part of the terminal or it can be placed up to two meters from the depictive panel of the terminal.

TOUCH55 is usually produced with operating system MS WINDOWS 2000. Application software can be created in all available developmental and visual tools (e.g. BORLAND DELPHI or C++ BUILDER, Microsoft Visual Studio, ... ).

Another external processor unit can be used instead of PCU01. It must contain:

• R.G.B. analog output 1024 x 768 as display interface
• serial input RS232 as touch screen interface
